Every system supports both engineering simulation and operational monitoring from the same physics-based foundation. In Simulation Mode, engineers can perform design studies, scenario evaluation and performance analysis. Where plant data is available, the same engineering system can operate in Monitor Mode, comparing simulated and measured plant performance in real time.

By combining engineering simulation with operational data, engineers can evaluate equipment performance, identify deviations between expected and actual operation, validate engineering assumptions and gain deeper insight into the behaviour of the complete compression system.

Understanding compression systems requires more than analysing individual compressors in isolation. Compressor performance is influenced by the surrounding process, mechanical configuration, control systems and the interaction of multiple pieces of equipment operating together.

Each system can be configured from individual compressor casings and casing arrangements through compression trains, train arrangements and complete compression systems, incorporating process equipment such as heat exchangers, separators, recycle systems, anti-surge control and customer-specific UnitOps where required.
